Roundtable "Implementation and Protection of Patients' Rights in the Field of ART"

On 15 April 2026, an online round table entitled "Implementation and Protection of Patients' Rights in Assisted Reproductive Technologies: Legal and Ethical Aspects" will be held.

The event is organised on the initiative of the Committee on Medical and Pharmaceutical Law and Bioethics of the National Bar Association of Ukraine jointly with the Ukrainian Foundation of Companies Providing Organisational and Legal Support for Assisted Reproductive Technology Programmes and the Medical and Reproductive Law Center.

The round table will address current legal and ethical issues in the field of assisted reproductive technologies, including reproductive rights, civil liability in ART programmes, protection of patients' personal data, confidentiality issues and legal aspects of posthumous reproduction.

The event will be moderated by Sergii Antonov, Member of the Council of the Committee on Medical and Pharmaceutical Law and Bioethics of the National Bar Association of Ukraine, President of the Ukrainian Foundation of Companies Providing Organisational and Legal Support for Assisted Reproductive Technology Programmes, attorney-at-law, PhD in Law and Director of the Medical and Reproductive Law Center.
